Resolution
300 dpi at 1/4 size...
For most images, 75 dpi offers a quality print as long as the file does
not need to be scaled up when produced. Often times, due to
large final dimensions, artwork is set up at 1/2 or 1/4 size. In these
cases, resolution would need to be 150 dpi at half size or 300 dpi at
quarter size. If you have questions, or feel your project requires a
different resolution, call or email us and we will answer your questions.
Fonts
Outline, Outline Outline...
To avoid output issues, we strongly recommend converting all
of your fonts to outlines before saving your production files. This
eliminates problems with font substitutions and different font
types. We recommend outlining your fonts in pdfs that “embed”
fonts when you save them so that we can prepare your files for
output through our rip software.
